Clothes & Accessories Vol. 2

Volume 2 of Clothes & Accessories

If a fabric care label says Dry Clean Only, don’t wash or even spot clean it! Clothing made of rayon, silk, and wool blends may shrink, change colors, or lose shape.

-Always remove dry cleaned garments from their plastic bags and allow them to air out to avoid breathing the laundering chemical perchloroethylene.

-If garments have a very strong chemical smell, the item is not dry or not enough of the solvent has been removed. Air our garments for at least a day. If you notice the strong smell frequently, consider a different dry cleaner.
