Explore The Creative Playscape

The Creative Playscape at San Gabriel Park is one of the favorite playgrounds in its surrounding areas. It’s gigantic and very unique and has equipment for kids of all ages and sizes. The nice thing about this playground is that the entire thing is fenced in. You can also find restrooms and a hike/bike trail.

 

Rent a bike for the day

Explore the town on two wheels, while you hire a great Georgetown cleaning service, and enjoy the glimpses and sounds of the town by participating in the FREE bike rental program. You can rent for 24 hours.

 

Spend A Day At Berry Springs Park

There are so many things to do in the park and yet it’s so peaceful and serene. In this park of 300 acres you can find fishing, camping, a playground, hiking/walking/biking trails, a pecan grove, and Donkeys (yes, live donkeys) :D. It’s just so beautiful! They had strung up hammocks in the trees. How amazing isn’t it?! You can cherish the whole day here. It is such a treat!

Georgetown Called as “The Most Beautiful Town Square In Texas” by its people. Though we haven’t been to every town square in Texas to assert this claim. But we want you to go and decide for yourself. There are plenty of FREE events to attend like Music On The Square Summer Concerts, First Fridays On The Square, a splash pad, the Christmas Stroll, Georgetown Farmers Market, Market Days on the Square, and Lighting of the Square.

 

See Stars At The Fountainwood Observatory

Through the stellar events hosted by Southwestern University view the moon, stars, and planets through a research-quality telescope during FREE public viewing nights at the Fountainwood Observatory.

 

Cool Off At Blue Hole

Located on the San Gabriel River Blue Hole is a beloved swimming hole. This is one of the favorite spots to cool off on a hot summer day.

There are restrooms and picnic areas, walking trails. You can eat at nearby restaurants or bring a picnic and spend all your day by the water. A few things to keep in mind: The water depth can vary, so keep a close eye on your little swimmers and there are no lifeguards. Accompany with plenty of water, snacks, sunscreens, towels, and floating tubes.
