Advice and Hints for Pets
Save hair removal time and effort by covering your pets favorite furniture resting spots with a washable sheet, slipcover or bedspread. Remove and shake out pet bed blankets and pillows at least once a week. For easy care, choose bedding with a removable cover, or cover it with a machine washable item.
Use a rubber bristled push broom or long handled squeegee to push pet hair into rolls that can be picked up. A hand in a damp rubber glove rolled across the hair covered surface is also effective. Also try stroking furniture with a damp sponge.
